Mountain bike tour in Tyrol with vantage point

Riding time including breaks: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours | Elevation gain: approx. 250 metres

 

Cycle along the road towards Lehen – Überfeld – Ennebach as far as the tourist office. Turn right there and carry on towards Larstighof as far as the chapel. Continue over the bridge towards Sennhof – Höfle – Bichl – Platte until the end of the path. Along the route you’ll find a viewpoint offering a panoramic view of the Ötztal valley. Return via Höfle and Gasthof Stuibenfall until you reach the sawmill where you turn right and take the tarmacked path back to Hotel Tauferberg.

 

 

Mountain bike tour in Tyrol Horlachtal and Larstighof

Riding time including breaks: approx. 3 hours | Elevation gain: approx. 400 metres

 

Follow the road as far as Hotel Falknerhof. Turn right there onto the path towards Grastalfeld (the first section is a bit steep) and cycle on to Larstighof (1,800 m). Return along the stream as far as Sennhof, then via Höfle to Gasthof Stuibenfall. Turn right at the sawmill and then continue until you reach Hotel Tauferberg.

Riding time including breaks: approx. 3 hours | Elevation gain: approx. 550 metres

 

Cycle on the road as far as Gasthof Stuibenfall and then along the old road until just before Umhausen (1,050 m) where you turn off right. Continue over the Hirschberg path – the first half requires good fitness level – via Höfle and then back to Niederthai.

Mountain bike tour in Tyrol: from Grastal to the Schweinfurter Hütte

Riding time: depending on fitness level and breaks | Elevation gain: 850 metres

 

Follow the road as far as Hotel Falknerhof. Turn right there onto the path towards Grastalfeld. As soon as you’ve arrived there turn right and continue up into Grastal (1,900 m) until the end of the trail. Then cycle back to Grastalfeld, continue from there towards Larstighof and past the mountain farms to the Schweinfurter Hütte (2,050 m). Return via Larstighof – Sennhof – Gasthof Stuibenfall or alternatively on the Bergmahder trail.

Mountain bike tour in Tyrol: via Umhausen to Farst

Riding time: depending on fitness level and breaks | Elevation gain: 1,100 metres

 

Follow the tarmacked road as far as Umhausen (1,050 m). Cycle through Umhausen and over the bridge near the church. Then take the track and finally the steep trail to Farst (1,450 m). Return via Umhausen and the Hirschberg trail to Niederthai.
